Experts From Johns Hopkins Hospital Visit LZUSH

On November 8, Dr.Karen Jeanne Haller, Chief Nursing Officer of Johns Hopkins Hospital in the United States, went to our hospital for an exchange visit. President Wang Chen, Vice President Zhang Wenfang, and heads of relevant administrative and clinical departments attended the symposium.

During the discussion, president Wang Chen introduced in detail the development of the hospital in recent years. He said that Johns Hopkins University is one of the top universities in the United States. it is well-known in the world for medical sciences and lead American hospitals for many years. It is hoped that through this exchange, the friendship between the two sides will be deepened, and the two sides will reach strategic cooperation in medical, teaching, and scientific research. It will further improve the level of medical and scientific research in our hospital, so that we’re available to provide better medical services for the people in the northwest region.

Dr. Haller said that Johns Hopkins Hospital and Lanzhou University Second Hospital share the same ideals. She believe that both parties will take this event as an opportunity to deepen mutual understanding and lay a solid foundation for further cooperation in the future.

After the symposium, Dr. Haller and her team visited the Department of Anesthesiology and Radiology, and extended presentations titled "Building a World-Class Nursing Department", "Lung, Heart Transplantation and Anesthesia Management", and "Artificial Intelligence in Radiology".
